1. You try a new diet or program a few times a year, and although you see some initial progress, you almost always gain the weight you lost back.
2. Self doubt and fear is a big obstacle for you, and you self-sabotage the moment you see a few wins... Most of your attempts to lose weight end in weekend binges, guilt, and falling off the wagon.
3. You spend the majority of your week trying to find what to eat, instead of already having an intentional plan mapped out to get you results. Macros, calories, points? It's overwhelming just to think about it.
4. You're lacking major consistency and motivation, and find yourself running out of time to do the things you want to do. Most of your days begin and end in overwhelm, leaving you feeling like you didn't make the time for what really mattered and being stretched too thin.
5. You're a high-achiever, driven, and results-focused woman who has had success in other areas of her life but when it comes to your nutrition, it feels like you can't get this area under control.
6. You don't want to be seen by old friends and avoid being in photos because you're always disappointed with how you look in them.

I get it!... Because I've been where you are.
Let’s backtrack a little, I was born and raised in Peru but I call Australia “home” since 2009. I come from a culture where food is everything! I grew up in a family where it was normal to be unhappy with your body and it seemed like one or more members of my family was always on a diet (#allmyaunties).
I used to be a professional dancer between the ages of 5-16 years old. My training schedule was very intense, so I could eat whatever I wanted without worrying about gaining weight. This was a completely foreign topic for me back then! When I decided to leave dancing at the age of 16, I experienced something I was not familiar with, weight gain, so this is where my dieting history commenced.
I can remember my first appointment with a nutritionist and I was told that the answer is to cut carbs (yes, no bread for breakfast!), eat mainly salads (boring!), and do a few days cleanses (wtf!). I tried a couple of diets and sadly I also tried appetite suppressants and skinny teas. I saw results but then… I would binge on bread, cookies, chips… you name it, and gain it all back! - Can you relate?

How I Made the Change
After multiple encounters with different diets and having a negative relationship with my body and food, in 2018 I knew something had to change. I made the decision after a trip to Europe where I felt VERY uncomfortable in my body and I had zero confidence wearing a bikini.
The problem was that I didn’t know what to do or where to start, so I did the most common thing to do when you want to get healthier… I joined a gym and saw a personal trainer who suggested a 1,000kcal meal plan.
I followed the plan and I saw results but I felt SO miserable with such a restrictive plan - I was basically eating tuna, boiled broccoli, brown rice, and a couple of veggies here and there… I started getting obsessed with eating “clean”, low-fat, low-sugar, low-carb, etc, etc.

This is My Why
I knew something wasn’t right, so I started learning the actual science behind nutrition. I learned why fad diets don’t work and how I was able to make long-lasting changes not only in my body but also in my mind.
I believe in the power of knowledge. You only know what you know, right? With the right nutrition education and guidance, you can achieve the healthiest version of yourself and feel your best self! My passion is to help women finally reach their happy weight in a sustainable and enjoyable way. I love to empower them with evidence-based nutrition knowledge so that they can make more informed decisions in the kitchen.
Trust me, I know how hard it is to lose weight… it’s not easy (whoever tells you otherwise is probably trying to sell you another fad diet)… it’s a journey with ups and downs but it’s absolutely possible with no restriction, feeling deprived, or fad dieting. I believe that eating for weight loss and good health should be fun and most importantly – delicious.
I hope I get to inspire you with my content. If I can share one tip with you is to just start! Start now with a glass of water, adding veggies to your next meal, or going for a 10-minute walk… but just start!
